YJC 2025 Team-building Retreat to Qiandao Lake
To enrich employees’ cultural life and strengthen team cohesion and collaborative spirit, Yujiaocheng Group organized all staff and guests to travel to the picturesque Qiandao Lake on August 16, 2025, for a summer team-building retreat full of fun and energy. From sunrise to starlit skies, colleagues relaxed amid lake and mountain scenery, deepened friendships, and created an unforgettable group memory.
At 10:30 a.m., the summer sun had already spread its warmth across the main plaza in front of the complex building. Bathed in golden light, the team stood ready, eyes bright with barely contained excitement. Before departure, Manager Cao from Human Resources gently and attentively went over the safety reminders, laying a solid foundation of reassurance for the journey ahead. Soon after, the convoy set off amid laughter. The bus was a lively scene: quick party games drew rounds of applause; when the sing-along began, familiar tunes filled the air and everyone softly joined in, their eager joy rolling along with the turning wheels toward the much-anticipated team-building time.
Around 1:00 p.m., the convoy arrived at Qiandao Lake right on schedule. After a short rest to regroup, the long-awaited team-building activities kicked off at full throttle. The moment the professional coaches arrived, they led warm-up icebreakers that quickly closed the distance between people — the atmosphere exploded with energy. Next came the highly engaging water-kayaking events: some teams showed perfect coordination, charging forward together with determination to claim first place; others paddled in sync while nimbly changing formations, putting on a spectacular show on the water. Shouts and cheers rose and fell across the lake — the scene was electric. Round after round of collaborative challenges and playful contests steadily built mutual trust and strengthened team cohesion. Whether racing through adrenaline-pumping water obstacles or drifting leisurely on a kayak to admire the scenery, everyone let go and savored the joy; smiles were everywhere, bright and uncontainable.
As the team-building drew to a close, an all-you-can-eat barbecue feast commenced, offering a satisfying treat for every palate. Seated around the grills, colleagues focused on turning the food as it sizzled, sharing stories and little moments from their lives amid the crackle of dripping fat. Amid rising smoke and glowing embers, camaraderie and warmth among team members deepened. A bright bonfire was lit, the dancing flames reflecting the radiant smiles on everyone’s faces. What followed were dazzling dance performances, fun interactive games, and imaginative talent showcases. Melodious singing echoed into the night; the venue buzzed with vitality as the festive atmosphere grew more intense. Finally, under a romantic sky woven with starlight and firelight, everyone sang and danced, bringing this rich and memorable team-building retreat at Qiandao Lake to a warm and satisfying close.
This Qiandao Lake retreat not only allowed employees to embrace nature and unwind from busy work, but also deepened mutual understanding and trust through a variety of interactive activities, further strengthening the team’s unity. Going forward, all members of Yujiaocheng will carry the energy and tacit understanding gained from this retreat into their work, returning with greater enthusiasm and more effective collaboration to inject fresh momentum into the company’s development.
